Search the City
Search the City is our city-wide scavenger hunt. The first clue is posted on social media @clearfieldcity and will lead you to a location with a clue to the next area. Solve the clues and submit pictures of yourself via the form at each location to be entered into our prize giveaways. The locations will be accessible all day, so you can search whenever!

Movie in the Park
Come out with your family and friends and watch a movie at Steed Park. This year, we’ll be handing out free popcorn! This has become a well-loved tradition for the families in our community.
We’ll be watching National Treasure. The movie begins at dusk. Parking is available by the pickleball courts, Holt Elementary, and on the north side by Steed Park’s playground.

Paint the Bridge
Come help us kick off our 4th of July as we paint the Center Street Bridge. Paint, food trucks, and dancing on the bridge into the night. This is a perfect way to get you in the patriotic spirit of the 4th! All paint supplies are provided at this free event.
NO OUTSIDE PAINT IS ALLOWED!
The Center Street Bridge will be closed all day on June 30 to prepare for the event. Parking is available at City Hall, the Library, and the Davis County Health Department.

Patriotic Concert
Get in the patriotic spirit at this concert as the Clearfield City Community Band and Choir favor us with all the Independence Day classics. This will be held at Clearfield High School.
Thursday, July 2 – 7:30 PM
Pool Bash
Snack on some watermelon as you watch your kids try to get the highest cannonball, or see if you can beat them as you enjoy this family-favorite pool party.
Friday, July 3 – 7:30-9 PM
Freedom Run 5K/1 mile
Start your 4th of July off with a brisk run on Clearfield’s trails. Beginning at Steed Park, the route will take you through one of the City’s most beautiful areas down the trails, and back up through the park. Register by June 12 to be guaranteed a shirt.
1000 W from 525 N to 300 N will be closed to traffic at the beginning of the race.
Saturday, July 4 – 7:00 AM
Hometown Parade
The route begins at City Hall and heads down State Street, then up SR-193 to the high school. Come party with us and gather all of the candy you can at one of the oldest traditions in the city. To register your float, contact us at clearfieldparade@gmail.com.
Parade guests may set up their seating after 7 p.m. on July 3. Seating must be on city property, meaning no private or residential areas. Tarps and spikes put in the ground are prohibited. Please be respectful of other people’s property!
The CHS and northern City Hall parking lot will be closed due to float hosting.

Freedom Festival
The Freedom Festival at Fisher Park is the culmination of the July 4th experience – featuring tasty treats, fun vendors, ice-cold beverages, and breathtaking fireworks. We are so excited to have Utah’s 2nd largest fireworks show back this year.
Come dance to our live entertainment featuring Thunderstorm Artis and Eric Following the final act, the synchronized fireworks show will begin at about 10 p.m. Firework guests may set up their seating after the parade ends on July 4.

The northern portion of the CHS parking lot will be closed due to construction. A portion of the Aquatic & Fitness Center parking lot will be reserved for VIP and ADA parking.

Utah 250 Events

Walk250 Utah challenges every Utahn to complete 250 miles of outdoor exercise between July 2025 to July 2026 to honor our nation’s 250th anniversary. Every step counts!

America’s Potluck is an opportunity for neighbors to join with one another to share a meal, creating connection among people from all walks of life.

America250 Utah challenges all to honor our founding values through action and to join together in acts of service, unity, and civic engagement. Record any service hours here!

We are so excited to host our traditional Hometown Parade this year. Help us give our city the best parade they’ve ever seen. Parade applications are now available through our coordinator Tammie Shepherd. We can’t wait to see your truck, float, or whatever you’ve got!
